n8n Automation Agency

We build the n8n workflows you keep meaning to get around to.

BULDRR AI is a small team that designs, builds and runs n8n workflows and AI agents for real businesses. You describe the mess on a call. We turn it into a system your team can actually run, and you own every piece of it when we're done.

Vikash Kumar, founder of BULDRR AI, the person who builds your automation

What is an n8n automation agency

Short answer: we make the software you already pay for talk to each other.

An n8n automation agency designs and maintains workflows on n8n, an open-source automation platform, so the repetitive parts of your business run on their own instead of eating someone's afternoon. Lead follow-up, reporting, invoicing, support replies: the stuff that needs to happen but doesn't need a human doing it by hand every time.

Here's the part most agencies leave out of the pitch: the job isn't done when a workflow runs once in a demo. It's done when it survives a bad API response, an expired token, or a Tuesday nobody's watching. That's most of what you're paying for: not the first successful run, but the hundredth.

Connects

Your existing stack

Gmail, HubSpot, Salesforce, Sheets, Slack, Shopify, Stripe, WhatsApp, and 400+ other apps n8n already talks to.

Adds

AI, placed where it helps

Drafting replies, qualifying leads, reading documents, inside a workflow that already works. Not a chatbot sitting in a tab nobody opens.

Replaces

The busywork

Copy-pasting between tools, status updates, the follow-ups nobody has time for.

n8n certified agency: the honest answer

What "n8n certified partner" means right now.

As of 2026, n8n runs its Expert Partner Program as a closed pilot. It isn't something an agency can self-issue. So when a website says "n8n certified," the fair question is: certified by whom, and can they show you where? We can't show you a badge either. We're not on that list yet, and we'd rather tell you plainly than print one we haven't earned.

Vikash Kumar, founder of BULDRR AI

"What we can tell you: we build inside n8n every day, and we follow n8n's own recommended practices for error handling, credentials, and version control."

What to check before you hire anyone

  • Can they show you a real, running workflow, not just a screenshot?
  • Do they document triggers, credentials, and error paths, or is it a black box?
  • Is support priced separately and clearly, or bundled in and vague?
  • Do they explain self-hosted versus cloud, or just pick one for you without saying why?

n8n automation agency pricing

What it costs, broken down honestly.

n8n itself is free and open-source if you self-host it. n8n Cloud starts around $20–24/month for a small team. What you're paying an agency for is everything around that: the design, the build, the testing, and the "why did this stop working" at 2am.

Free audit Vikash Kumar

You walk Vikash through the mess on a call. We figure out what's worth automating first, based on time saved versus effort.

02

Design

We draft the workflow: triggers, logic, what happens when something fails, and agree on scope and price before we build anything.

03

Build

We build it in n8n, cloud or self-hosted, with every step named and every credential documented as we go.

04

Test

We run it against your real cases, including the annoying edge cases, before it touches anything live.

05

Handoff

You get a walkthrough and written docs. Your team should understand what's running even if they never open n8n again.

06

Support window

A fixed support window is included at every tier. After that, it's a retainer if you want one. No pressure either way.

n8n vs. the alternatives

None of this makes Zapier or Make bad tools. They're fine for small, simple, low-volume jobs. n8n starts earning its keep once you need custom logic, AI reasoning, or you're running enough volume that per-task pricing gets painful.

Questions people ask before hiring

Everything you'd want to know before hiring us.

How much does an n8n automation agency cost?
Most single-workflow projects run $400–$1,200 one-time. Multi-workflow systems with an AI step typically fall between $1,500–$4,500. Ongoing retainers range $1,200–$8,000 a month depending on volume and support level.
Is n8n itself free?
Yes. n8n is open-source and free to self-host on your own server. n8n's cloud plans start around $20–24/month for small teams who'd rather not manage infrastructure. Our fee is separate. It's for designing, building, and maintaining the workflows themselves.
Why do prices vary so much between n8n agencies?
Integration count, whether AI is involved, hosting choice, and support terms all move the price. A single Slack notification and a 12-step lead-to-invoice pipeline with an AI agent are both "n8n automation," but they're not the same job.
Is there a cheaper option if I'm small?
Yes. The Starter tier exists for exactly this: one clear, high-impact process automated without the overhead of a multi-workflow system. Most small businesses start there and expand once they see the time saved.
What's included in the retainer?
New workflow builds (queued), monitoring of what's already live, priority error response, and a monthly review to spot what else is worth automating. Built for teams that keep finding new manual processes to remove.
Are there hidden costs beyond your fee?
Possibly your n8n cloud subscription (if you're not self-hosting) and any paid APIs the workflow calls, like AI model usage or a paid WhatsApp Business tier. Those are usage-based, billed directly to you, and we flag them upfront. We don't mark them up.
Is BULDRR an official n8n certified partner?
Not yet. The program is a closed pilot as of 2026. We build extensively on n8n and follow its recommended practices, and we're working toward the Expert Partner track once it reopens. We'd rather say that plainly than overstate it.
How do I check an agency's n8n experience before hiring them?
Ask to see two or three live, running workflows (sensitive data redacted), ask how they handle errors and retries, and ask for a reference who's had the automation running for months, not just a demo.
Who owns the workflow once it's built?
You do. It lives in your own n8n instance, cloud or self-hosted, under your account, fully documented, so you're never locked into us to keep it running.
Should I use n8n cloud or self-hosted?
Cloud is faster to start and needs no server management. Good for most small and mid-size teams. Self-hosted makes sense if you handle regulated data, need full data residency, or run high volume where cloud pricing adds up.
Can n8n workflows use AI models like GPT or Claude?
Yes. n8n has native AI agent nodes that connect to major AI providers, so a workflow can draft replies, classify documents, extract data, or make routing decisions as part of the automation.
