AI Assistant (Chat & Voice)

Our website has an AI assistant you can type or talk to. To reply, what you type or say, including voice recordings and any name, email or phone number you choose to share, is processed by the third-party AI model providers that power the assistant.

When you talk to the assistant, your voice is streamed from your browser to ElevenLabs, which turns it into text. If ElevenLabs is unavailable or a usage limit is reached, your browser’s own speech recognition does this instead (in Chrome, that is Google’s; in Safari, Apple’s). The assistant’s spoken replies are made by OpenAI.

These providers have their own policies on how they process, store and use this data:

Please do not share sensitive personal information (such as passwords, payment or health details) with the assistant.

Voice Conversations May Be Recorded

When you talk to the assistant by voice and ElevenLabs is turning your voice into text, we record what you say and keep the recording with the written transcript. When your browser’s own speech recognition is used instead, nothing is recorded. We use the recording to review conversations and to check what the assistant heard.

By talking to the assistant by voice, you agree to this recording. If you would rather not be recorded, type to the assistant instead, or use our contact form.

These tools only process user data submitted through our forms and do not independently track user behavior for us.

Voice recordings from the AI assistant are kept for as long as we keep the conversation they belong to, and are then deleted with it. You can ask us to delete a recording sooner by emailing [email protected].
